our team of committed professionals provide cable solutions for a wide variety

We stock a wide range of standard power cables and data cables, but thanks to
our close relationships with selective cable manufacturers ARC also have the
ability to manufacture custom designed coiled/retractable cables to meet a
clients specific requirements.
Whether the application requires the ability to perform in harsh environments,
improved flexibility, or non-standard core configurations, ARC will take you
through the full process from initial design, through to prototyping and full
manufacture.

| PUR Retractable Cables |
Manufactured from Polyurethane, PUR retractable cables provide a highly
retractable and soft cable with a range of benefits:
- Oil and water resistant
- Flame resistant
- Halogen-free
- Very hard wearing
- Excellent chemical and mechanical resistance
- Long lasting coil retention
- Suitable for use in harsh environments
Polyurethane is chosen as the cable jacket material thanks to excellent memory
properties, high flexibility and range of resistances. PUR retractable cables
are the preferred choice for coiled data and power cables.
| LSZH Coiled Cables |
Low Smoke Zero Halogen, also known as LSZH Coiled Cables are manufactured from
H05Z1Z1-F cable. They are very rigid due to the flame retardant compound that
they contain. The end result is a highly springy, very stiff coil with excellent
retraction and stretch.
LSZH Coiled Cables can be used outside, but their jacket is not as durable as
PVC or PUR and they can be subject to scratches and scuffs, so are mainly used
for indoor applications.
LSZH coiled cables are typically used for commercial lighting, portable tools,
heating and domestic appliances in general. In the event of a fire they will
generate little to no hazardous fumes.
