5 Star has always been at the forefront of technology and over recent months has seen the most investment and commitment to the future. To keep up with increased demand the company made two major investments, one being a second CNC machining centre and the decision to introduce 3D modeling software. Solid Edge from UGS was chosen in late 2004 and 5 Star’s technical department spent just six months configuring and implementing the system into existing processes.
