Welcome to The Packaging Federation we are a UK trade association for the Packaging Manufacturing Industry. We are a recognised representative for Packaging Manufacturing companies throughout the UK and we also represent companies with associated activities.

Annual sales of £10 billion are made through the packaging manufacturing industry; around 85,000 people are employed into this industry which actually makes up 3% of the manufacturing workforce in the UK. The contributions made by these companies to the UK GDP are major ones and also a very vital link in the supply chain for packaging.

Recent times have seen packaging placed firmly under the public and commercial spotlight, which has necessitated a very strong voice for the whole packaging industry.

The main aim of The Packaging Federation is to actively promote the industries economic importance, all of the benefits that come from using packaging, the products that it produces and the concern for both the community and the environment.
