Sliding Stable Partitions

Over the past few months Niko Ltd has been exploring new markets, promoting versatile track in the sliding door market, and selling to end users as well as trade customers and weÂ’re happy to say that it has been a great success. However we now feel itÂ’s time to move even further into the sliding door market by promoting our product for the use of barn or stable doors and partitioning. We were first drawn to the market after discovering that our sister companies and Dutch distributors have been targeting the market for some time, with considerable success, thus our decision to begin actively marketing the idea.

Often barns or stables will use sliding partitions, as opposed to hinged doors. Sliding partitions are more beneficial because they are space saving, since they do not swing open and block valuable floor space. They are also quieter and allow for the movement of any sized door. NikoÂ’s range of track sizes can be used on all types of partitions and doors from 10kg up to 2000kg, for both indoor and outdoor use depending on the finish. For example our gold zinc finish is 4 times more corrosion resistant than a silver zinc finish and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. However if our track was to be used in adverse weather conditions we could also provide a stainless steel version, which would be even more protected against the elements. Also NikoÂ’s sliding door track is suitable for fixing various door materials including wood, metal and glass.

What makes NikoÂ’s track so reliable? Firstly it does not require any lubrication and little maintenance because it is designed to reduce the build-up of dirt dust and ice. Furthermore due to the shape of the track the trolleys do not bind or snag, providing a smooth and near silent operation; and finally the high reliability means that the track is certified to BS EN 1527 for up to 100,000 cycles.
