Fineweave has over 45 years of experience in the flooring industry and is one of the largest independent retails in the south of England.

They have recently purchased two Balex 50's from Kenburn for their cardboard, plastic and carpet waste.

After seeing some of online advertisements, Fineweave Carpets contacted Kenburn to establish whether they would benefit from installing waste handling machinery.

Lee at Fineweave commented "We arranged a visit to view different models of machinery at Kenburn's offices in St Albans. We originally planned to have two Balex 30's.

Europress Balex 50
Even though we couldn't view the model before placing the order, we were happy with the excellent build quality of the machines we'd seen and decided that the new larger Balex 50 would be far better for our current waste streams."

SMART Technology
Lee continued "The two new Balex 50's were delivered and installed promptly into our designated area and were far better than our expectations.

We did manage to lock one machine on the first time of using the baler on its 'maiden use', but this was quickly rectified by via the SMART technology which comes as standard with every machine.

The engineer was able to fix our machine without even needing to visit our site and Kenburn then gave us some extra help afterwards over the phone."

Balex Build Quality
He added "the advice given by Gordon Taylor was helpful and precise and he explained the benefits of compaction and possible cost savings."

Cost Reductions
We have reduced our waste container rental by 50% and have made many bales of cardboard, plastics and carpet.

Gordon has visited us again and provided us with information that has demonstrated that we could reduce our waste even further by using the Balex 50's for other waste streams that we produce.

I would like to say that we are more than happy with both the service and models supplied to us for our recycling needs."
