Project completes ahead of major Pink Floyd show

TRANSLYFT UK Ltd News and PR from TRANSLYFT UK Ltd - Published 16 May 2017 Translyft Lifting Technology complete V&A job ahead of Pink Floyd exhibtion.
The V&A, the world’s largest design and decorative arts museum has boasted many spectacular exhibitions since it opened in 1852, but ahead of the next large scale event, the eagerly anticipated Pink Floyd ‘ Their Mortal Remains’ show opening on May 13, we are completing a bespoke loading bay installation in this landmark building .

The new lift weÂ’re installing is as a result of the loading bay to the museum being extended and provides an opportunity for a new lift that drops flush to the floor when lowered so that goods can be simply rolled on and raised to the loading bay level and then rolled off, and protected by gates throughout the cycle.

The new lift will be fully operational before the end of this month, ahead of the Pink Floyd exhibit opening, when more than a million people are expected to visit the Museum.

Maybe our next project will be on the dark side of the moon?
