Success for SE Controls at Germany’s biggest ever BAU exhibition

SE Controls News and PR from SE Controls - Published 13 June 2019 This year’s BAU exhibition in Munich was the largest ever staged and has proven to be an outstanding success for SE Controls.
This yearÂ’s BAU exhibition in Munich was the largest ever staged and has proven to be an outstanding success for SE Controls with our 60 sq.mtr stand, including product displays and our new R&D innovation zone, attracting attention and interest from countless international visitors.

Held between 14th and 19th January, BAU is acknowledged as the worldÂ’s leading architecture, materials and systems trade fair with a total of 2,250 exhibitors from 45 countries and SE Controls was one of just 16 British companies to exhibit.

Overall visitor numbers were equally impressive, with the organisers reporting a total of 250,000 with 85,000 attending from outside Germany, which was the highest in the showÂ’s 55-year history and showed significant increases in the numbers from Russia and China.

Throughout the 6 days SE Controls hosted more than 1000 visitors on the stand, who were keen to learn more about our products and façade engineering, automation and ventilation solutions with our R&D product innovation feature also generating interest, resulting in new business contacts and prospective opportunities.

“Having attended BAU for the first time in 2017, our aim this year was to build on the impact we created two years ago by showcasing every aspect of our business from the products we manufacture to the experience and the expertise we possess through to the ground breaking innovation that will play a significant part of our future development,” explained Will Perkins, Group Managing Director of SE Controls. “We operate on a global basis and our international offices are active in a wide range of markets, so exhibitions such as BAU and Fensterbau provide us with an excellent opportunity to make new international contacts while reinforcing our strong position and presence.”

He added: “The time, financial investment and the efforts of everyone involved in making this show such a tremendous success has not only been worthwhile, but it has also acted as a springboard for further positive development and growth through 2019 and beyond.”
