IATF 16949: recertification audit 2020 passed

SCHURTER Ltd News and PR from SCHURTER Ltd - Published 10 February 2021 In August 2017 SCHURTER AG successfully passed the certification according to the Automotive Standard IATF 16949:2016 at the first attempt.
As usual with this certificate, regular maintenance and recertification audits are carried out. This was also the case in 2020, and SCHURTER has again overcome the demanding hurdles this year.

The IATF (International Automotive Task Force) requires the highest standards of system and process quality in a company. The recertification and maintenance audits distinguish the company in its efforts to continuously improve the quality level. The Automotive Standard IATF 16949:2016 sets the highest requirements.

Striving for continuous improvement

SCHURTER focuses on this standard as the strategic orientation of the company's 'development. SCHURTER wants to improve continuously in order to be able to meet the constantly growing requirements of its customers today and in the future.

Improvement proposals implemented

The agreed improvement proposals from the first audits in previous years were consistently implemented. During the audit for recertification new focuses of improvement were identified and scheduled for implementation.

Consistent involvement of the management

The management is encouraged to further improve the implementation of the interdisciplinary and process-oriented measures within the agreed time frame. This will further increase the reliability of processes, maintain product quality at the highest level and - most importantly - continuously improve cooperation with all partners.

Win-win situation

SCHURTER's orientation towards IATF 16949 is of great importance not only for automotive customers. It also serves all SCHURTER customers who benefit from the improved processes. Everyone benefits.

Certificate

The newly issued certificate will be available on the SCHURTER website before Christmas. The existing certificate is still valid until 15 February 2021 (www.iatfglobaloversight.org).
