HL Training Services
HL Training Services is an
international training company that offers in-centre and on-site training
for Forklift and Mobile Plant.
With over thirty years' experience HL Training are able to offer a wide
range of training services that have been specifically designed to meet the
needs of our clients in areas such as forklift, telescopic forklift, 360
excavators, mobile plant, HIAB, scissor lifts, overhead cranes, abrasive
wheels and many more.
Forklift Operator Training
We are able to provide both onsite and in centre training programs for a
wide range of forklift types from rider & pedestrian pallet trucks, side
loaders and straddle carriers to lorry mounted forklifts, narrow aisle
trucks and rough terrain telescopic handlers.
Forklift Instructor Training
At HL Training we provide 10 day forklift instructor or
re-registration courses accredited by ITSSAR, AITT or RTITB. Our forklift
instructor training courses will provide you with all the skills required to
become an accredited instructor. Once complete you will be able to instruct
on any machines you hold certificates for.
HIAB
Lorry Mounted Crane Training Cpurses
HL Training Services offer HIAB lorry mounted crane training for instructors and operators
at our training centre in Bristol and on site at customer locations.
Online
Health and Safety
Courses
For those who can't reach one of our branches or simply want to learn health
and safety from
the comfort of their home/workplace then our one-on-one tutor led
interactive health and safety online training courses are precisely what you need.
Mobile
Plant Training
We also deliver on-site training courses for mobile plant and machinery
which are available for up to a maximum of three trainees.
Telescopic Forklift Training
These types of forklift trucks are more commonly known as telehandlers. HLT
offers quality training on telehandlers at very competitive rates.
Bendi
Forklift / Pivot Steer
We provide ITSSAR accredited Pivot Steer Training. Our new pivot steer
training is delivered on a Flexi forklift, flexi and bendi are both
manufacturers of pivot steer forklifts.
Abrasive Wheels
We offer ITSSAR accredited abrasive wheels training for instructors and
employees at either our training centre in Bristol or on site if preferred.
Overhead Crane
This course includes HSE regulations, employer and employee responsibilities
LOLER, PUWER and safe working practices slinging.
Loading & Lashing
ITSSAR loading and
lashing training is provided by HLT at either our training site in Bristol
or on site.
Very
Narrow Aisle - Man Up Training
Very Narrow Aisle trucks are used for stacking loads, medium and high level
order picking or in some instances both functions. Training is available on
both man up and man down trucks.
Reach
Truck and Counterbalance Training
We are fully accredited by ITSSAR and offer reach truck training alongside
counterbalance forklift training to South Wales and surrounding areas.

These guys sorted out a slinger/signaller course for myself and one colleague at short notice. Vince was a good instructor and I'd happily recommend him and or use him again. The kit was good and we were tested with both a written and practical element.

Staff were all excellent, very friendly and made me feel welcome. Vince helped everyone with the areas that they felt they struggled in, and the area's that he could see needed extra help. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff. I personally and I know the other people with me would highly recommend them for forklift training.

Having less then 6 months left to serve at the Armour centre in Bovington, Dorset as a Tp Sgt RAC Training Regiment. I hadn't had a clue on what I wanted to do until I met HL Training at a job fair, after speaking with members of the staff about what they offer I was then convinced that I want to become a forklift instructor, and what better place to do it then HL Training. I then spoke with Angela who helped me out no end with her vast knowledge on ELCAS, she done all relevant paperwork including booking my accommodation. HL Training well, from the on set I felt very much "part of the family" all instructors are outstanding, "even if Aaron is tight about getting the coffee's in. only joking Aaron its jack really" the best thing about this company is they make you feel at home, nice to see happy friendly faces in the morning and their training was first class. I would definitely recommend this company to all those leaving the services no matter what your skill levels are. Top company.
