Warehouse Storage Hertfordshire
As part of our growth strategy Direct Transportation have invested in high quality warehousing where we are able to provide both dedicated secure warehousing solutions or shared user warehousing in Essex. We boast 2 acres of outside storage and over 100,000 square feet of covered secure warehousing.

General Haulage Colchester
We have a fleet of haulage trucks that incorporate Cat2 lowloader, step frame, flatbed, skeletal and curtainsider trailers. Our fleet are satellite tracked offering our clients real time, cost effective general haulage. Direct transportation provide dedicated managed haulage for time sensitive deliveries to all the major NDCs and customers such as Amazon.

Pallet Delivery Essex
Direct Transportation joined the acclaimed and highly successful Pallet Truck network as an associate member back in 2014, this enables us to offer our customers pallet delivery via a fully integrated nationwide pallet network from our 267,000 square ft hub. We offer next day deliveries 98% of the time with pallets trunked during the day and nightly.

HIAB Haulage Trucks
Our fleet of HIAB haulage trucks have a lifting capacity of 10 tons and are capable of reaching up to 22 meters. We providing lifting plans for use with our HIAB trucks and apply for movement orders.

Flatbed Vehicles
Our rigid flatbed vehicles all come with remote controlled cranes capable of lifting up to 10tonne, they have up to 22m reach, easily reaching third floor level where a 1 tonne payload is possible, these vehicles also pull our drag trailers increasing the payloads for maximum efficiency.

Curtainsiders Trucks
Rigid curtainsiders are available from 7.5 tonne to 18 tonne with tail lifts, not forgetting our flatbed 7.5 tonne vehicle. We offer shunt and de-van services from all major ports primarily Felixstowe but also Tilbury and Thamesport this compliments our warehouse facility which is 20k sq ft where we operate our pick and pack service. Counterbalance and Combi lifts are used giving us maximum flexibility when loading/unloading.

Being in partnership with a major pallet network also enables us to offer a national same day / next day service at very competitive rates. As well as above we also offer a full Shipping and Forwarding service of which we have hand-picked our Global partners to ensure the best possible service and rates available. Also included is a Customs Clearance service which is second to none covering all major sea and airports within the UK.

Container Services
Direct Transportation operate directly from Felixstowe and London Gateway Docks covering the UK and provide a personalised service to meet customers specific needs. Our container services have you covered, whether you're transporting a one off movement or need a complete solution for your container shipments we work closely with our clients to achieve the most cost effective outcome. All our vehicles have real time tracking and can offer up to date timings so your customer is always in the loop.

Devanning Solutions
With our extensive warehousing operation and links to a pallet network as well as our haulage fleet we can offer the perfect shunt and devan service. Being situated between Felixstowe and London Gateway we can provide day and night collections from either dock and devan your container, palletise your goods, warehouse them and deliver any size quantity in the UK.
