We will cut all `non-metallic`
materials ranging from thin foils and shims to carpet tiles.
Our bespoke cutting service has been created to import digital data,
correct any errors encountered and cut to consistent high quality
cutting.
This unique system will trace your profile or pattern and generate
the perfect tool path data on to the machine. We also use a powerful
nesting software programme which allows efficient use of materials
either in sheet or roll form.
Importing rastor data and bit maps is also possible with software
tools to convert outlines to vector ready data for machining your
materials. |

Over the years we have cut a vast range
of varnish plates to meet the needs of the specialist packaging and
coating industry�s.
We can supply flood coat plates for press types cut to standard
formats B1, B2 SRA1 along with sizes to meet the customers own
specifications. |

Technical

Utilising our 3 Swiss Conveyorised Flat
Bed Cutting Machines we are able to work on all types of materials
in roll and sheet format.
Our machine working dimensions are 1800mm with material widths of up
to 2080mm. Working lengths are unlimited for sheet and rolls with
working depths of up to 12mm.
Accuracy achieved is +/- 0.05mm with a feeding accuracy of +/-
0.20mm.
The cutting blades on these machines can also be set to varying
depths on the same workpiece, and the types of blade profiles can
also be changed to suit a particular material so whatever your
technical cutting requirements here at Quick Axis we are able to
offer you a comprehensive technical cutting service to meet your
exact requirements. |

At Quick Axis we are always on the
lookout for new production processes to benefit both the customer
and ourselves but ultimately to get the job completed in a cost
effective and efficient manner.
One such application involves using our own designed and developed
dual cutting system where we undertake a wide range of work for the
adhesive tape industry. This involves laminating the film/foam to a
release liner to prepare the tape on the conveyor system ready for
cutting.
