‘LS Fabrications is a third generation family run precision sheet metal fabrication business in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire (20mins from M25 & 10mins from A1 motorways) primarily operating in: Digital Signage – Defence – Aerospace – Medical – Retail – Electronics - Transport Having worked in the Medical and Aerospace industries for over 25 years we follow robust and strict quality inspections and procedures standards. Within the Retail sector we have provided products for long established high street retailers and internationally recognised brands. Products we have provided range from bespoke stands and displays to brand and window signage. Manufacturing Totems and Housings for the Digital Signage industry is an important part of our business, with over 20 years’ experience we have worked with established companies including GDS and Exterion Media. We have a variety of Digital Signage solutions that are currently in place at the Trafford Centre in Manchester, Gatwick Airport, Birmingham Airport, Canary Wharf and Westfield’s shopping centre in East London. Currently we are working on projects for well-known high street retailers and banks. In the Electronics industry we have manufactured a variety of components including enclosures, brackets and connector plates. Currently we work for two defence contractors supplying a variety of components. Over the last few years we have also been heavily involved with manufacturing metal work for the redevelopment of Kings Cross St Pancras Railway Station and the Crossrail project. Our ERP system coupled with ISO 9001:2015 ensures quality and real time tracking of jobs from concept to completion whether it is a one off bespoke item or a large production run. We cover all aspects of the manufacturing process at our 20,000sqft Factory that include; Design Consultation – CAD/CAM Design – Laser Cutting/Punching – Forming/Folding – Sheet Metal Processes - Welding – Powder Coating - Assembly We outsource machining, plating and anodising to a UKAS Accredited companies. Depending on your requirements it can be a Full product assembly, a Prototype or the manufacturing of individual components for the project. Flexible and quick lead times and high quality products is something we pride ourselves on. We offer a next day turnaround service depending on the complexity of the job for clients that need jobs in a hurry or a Kanban system for clients with a production run of items.’
