I can recommend the Greenlee Drill, Tap and Deburr bit set (50116304); it speeds up making a tapped hole in steel boxes/control panels by completing the whole process in one go. Pilot drilling is no longer required.

Since using the Greenlee LS50L-Flex, the battery hydraulic punch driver makes hole making in sheet metal panels faster and simpler especially in hard to reach places. I’ve also found that we save a lot of time compared to using holes saws (which we were using previously) as it doesn’t produce any swarf and there is no need to deburr the hole afterwards – it produces a clean & exact sized hole – Perfect!

When we started to use Greenlee hole punches, all the lads on the shop floor responded positively. There is a clear improvement in safety as there is no spinning blade, a massive reduction in workplace noise (the hole punch is nearly silent), and vibration is minimal; which is a hot topic these days with vibration white finger. The finished job is neater than our previous method, saves us time, keeps our workshop cleaner and our people safer.
