At Smiths we
supply one of the most comprehensive ranges of high quality drums, tanks,
barrels, IBCs, fittings and accessories in the UK. We also supply recycled and
re-purposed drums and tanks too. As Smiths was founded in 1972, we have decades
of experience in the supply of these products and are well placed to help you
choose the right product for your particular application.

our depot based in Gloucestershire.
Drums
We supply brand new stainless and standard steel drums, as well as new HDPE
plastic drums in all different capacities for just about every application, from
commercial and industrial to food and agricultural sectors, even domestic.
IBC Tanks
Whether your requirements are for storing fuel, chemicals, waste, food products
or water. We have a large range of both new and recycled IBCs available.
Recycled Tanks and Drums
When you order a recycled tank or drum from us you can rely on its quality
because we only source from trusted suppliers. With our dedicated team we
rejuvenate them to a reusable condition.
IBC Heated Jackets
Need to keep your product warm or cold?
We supply IBC heated jackets to 20 degrees more than the ambient temperature or
insulated jackets to prevent freezing or heating, IBC heated jackets with
thermostats that can be controlled to up to 90 degrees and PVC covers can all be
found on the Smiths of the Forest of Dean website.
Food Grade Jerry Cans, Tubs and bags
High grade plastic jerry
cans in stock ready for immediate dispatch range from 5 litre to 25 litre
capacities. We also stock and supply HDPE food grade tubs with lids and beer and
cider bags with boxes in various volumes.
Wooden Crates
When it comes to wooden crates and cases, we offer a bespoke packing and
shipping case service. Alternatively, we offer a range of standard wooden crates
which are manufactured on site here in The Forest Of Dean using locally sourced
recycled materials.
Spill Pallets
Our high-grade spill pallets are manufactured here in the UK. We have a variety
of sizes to fit all your needs.
Pipes And Fittings
We have a wide range of pipe in stock from nylon and steel wire reinforced
medium duty and large high flex suction hose, rubber fuel hose and MDPE.
We stock every conceivable fitting for all tanks and barrels. These range from
adaptors and connectors to taps, float valves and float level gauges.

Dust Suppression System
Designed and built by us to be used with a Schuetz IBC tanks, our dust
suppression systems are available in 2 options. We can supply the dust
suppression system as a kit on its own, or a complete setup with a 1000 litre
IBC tank.

Amazing company. Rang yesterday for some advice and buy some parts The guy I spoke to really knew his stuff and advised me on some products, I ordered them yesterday afternoon and the arrived this morning. Popped in to see these guys Monday morning to get a tank for my new valeting venture. I took my van there, they test fitted a couple of tanks to make sure I got a good fit. Supplied all Fittings and fixtures so I was ready to roll. Super helpful, and friendly! Would definitely recommend.
