I am writing to you regarding the refurbishment of Tarleton High School Swimming Pool. Our school swimming pool was on the verge of closure due to a major water leak and failing plant equipment that was no longer fit for purpose. Following successful partnership with Lancashire County Council, the funding was raised to allow a refurbishment project to be undertaken. From the first initial meetings when collaborative partnerships were formed, everybody involved shared a drive to make the project a success. I would particularly like to commend the involvement of Edward Clarke, who oversaw the project and through his fastidious approach and steadfast attention to detail has delivered a fantastic facility. Darren Clark's commitment ensured the school, as the client, was kept informed and involved in all key decisions and was able to shape the project.
