With a program of continual investment TWM Die Tools use the very latest in manufacturing techniques and utilises state of the art machinery and ancillary equipment to efficiently produce tooling for precision cast components to meet your customer�s requirements.

Die Cast Tooling Production
Starting with our up to date in-house design facility TWM Die Tools will take your die cast tooling project through all of the necessary production stages and design the most effective tooling for the manufacture of quality cast components. This includes comprehensive 2D and 3D design using solids and surface modelling software to ensure the design of tooling.

Our software is able to support split line generation, draft angle analysis, core, cavity, slide representation and parting surfaces.

We are able to accept your data in a wide range of models and formats by e-mail, SSD and CD.

Die Cast Tool Makers
Tooling for carbon fibre components are also be machined to the customer�s specifications.

We machine from aluminium billet or plate material and diamond polished to a 6 micron finish.

Bespoke components and tooling are regularly undertaken for a range of industries including Automotive, consumer goods and Formula 1 where we create tooling for carbon fibre components and bonding jigs.

Prototype Machining
TWM provide a cost effective prototype machining service to a wide range of industrial sectors including electronics, medical, military and motorsport.

Machined from aluminium billet material we pride ourselves on the attention to detail taken to supply you the customer with the component that is as near to the final design as possible � including draw tapers and fillet radii if the component is to be a production casting.

Our prototyping service is ideal for assisting customers and designers and is an essential step in the product development process.

This process can also be used to provide feedback to the design team prior to customer approval and full production.

Whatever your concepts TWM Die Tools can help guide you through all stages of development from concept to manufacture.

All tooling undergoes �On Machine Verification� using Autodesk PowerInspect supplying a detailed report on the accuracy of the machined surfaces with a comparison back to the 3D model supplied.

If any deviation is found the item can be re-machined whilst in position on the machine eliminating time and errors in resetting.

5 Axis Machining
Utilising our DMG MORI DMU 70 milling machine we are able to machine close tolerance tooling to your requirements. This machine has a table size of 800mm diameter and a weight capacity of 350 Kg.

We use Haimer and WTE shrink fit tooling packages and cutter paths are produced with industry leading NCGCAM software.

Inspection is on the machine using Autodesk PowerInspect utilising 5 axis movement.
