UK Cast Stone manufacturers produce some of the best cast stone in the world but still feel that awareness and confidence in cast stone needs to be increased. Any cast stone purchased in the UK should as a minimum comply with BS 1217 but ideally should be produced to the higher standard adopted by the UK Cast Stone Association. The UK Cast Stone Association produces freely available technical manual and guidance notes.
