Midland Metrology celebrated its 25th Birthday

On the 1st March 2014 Midland Metrology celebrated its 25th Birthday.

From humble beginnings the company has grown into the largest supplier of used
Measuring Equipment in the UK.

In the early days the range of equipment was mainly used , good condition hand tools. Micrometers, verniers, height and bore gauges, were typical of our stock.

Since then we have grown into a supplier of more sophisticated measuring type machines.

The range now is both new and also used equipment .

During this time the customer base has changed considerably. We have customers in over 50 countries world wide. The word customer doesn't always describe the relationships we have, as many of these customers have become lifelong friends.
The new products available include Profile Projectors, Video and Coordinate Measuring Machines, Hardness Testing Machines together with Granite Surface Plates and Tables., We like to offer the customer with a degree of confidence when buying from Midland Metrology .

To that end we have a fully traceable to National Standards Calibration Laboratory.

All equipment comes with a full calibration certificate, and a 12 month warranty.

Looking forward to the next 25 years, we have recently invested in a brand new mezzanine floor to help with our increasing stock levels of new Profile Projectors and Granite products. This new structure has helped greatly with the storage of a much higher level of new equipment. It has effectively added another 30 / 40 % showroom and storage area.

Always on display you will find Brand New vertical and horizontal Profile Projectors, Video Measuring Machines , Hardness Testers and more recently Granite Products.

It has always been our aim to offer quick deliveries.The extra floor area created has certainly helped in this department. We strive to have between ten and fifteen projectors for immediate delivery.The same applies to the Hardness Testers. Midland Metrology, are also able to store Granite Surface Plates and Tables. The size range is from 300 mm square, up to 2.5m x 1.2 m.The granite stock also includes Precision Squares. We try to keep all sizes of plates in stock at any given time.

Without the new floor area, this could not be achieved.
